Well,
what can i say that will not sound redundant. Well, for starters, I am very detail oriented when it comes to most things other than keeping my room
clean, which it normally isn't. I absolutely adore computers, and have been using them since the beginning of my highschool career, which would be
my first summer before highschool began in 1998. One of my favorite hobbies is to build Content Managment Systems in PHP, which i just can't get
enough of. My interests are primarly focused around computer technologies being : Programing, Hardware, Networking, but primarly Software. I know
a number of langauges, some of which i am more experianced than with others, they are: C/C++, PHP, Javascript, Perl, Python, Bash, SQL.
One of the things people will usually most recognize about me are the facts that i am probably the most opinionated person they
know. I can make enemies with practically any genre of personalities. But, I also seem to be able to get people to open up with not much to work
with. I'm the kind of guy that if your a friend and you ask me for help even if your not so friendly, i will most likely help out, because i'm a
sucker for compassion. My older sibling does not think i am because i live under the same roof, but most people who know me will say i am if you
present the question.
If you walk up to me as a perfect stranger and start talking about philosophy and morality, you will never get me to shut up, because
i can go on for days about both subjects, but more from a critical thinking stand point, not so much from an educated background, but i think that
to be able to use critical thinking in terms of morality and philosophy are very important, but then again, if you lack the ability to have compassion
for others, then your going to directly effect your morality. Enuff of that :)
I'm a firm believer in Open Source Software, If you ask me what i think about M$, i will tell you they are the devil, yet i'm stuck
using them for much of my software development, i don't hate the product, but rather the companies business practices. If i were to meet a M$ employee,
i would not attack their character just because they work for the company, just as i would not of someone who works for SCO, but rather ask them
what they think of the business practices of their employer. Anyways, i enjoy the whole OSS Community, i hang out in irc.freenode.net #gah channel,
and i'm known as the annoying little brat, but yet, i'm 20, and at times, they can be a little arrogant, but i can also be a little too vicurious
towards their experienced in Computer Scient / OSS community.
My experienced with Linux include: Debian, Gentoo, Redhat, Fedora, Mandrake, personally, i tend to gravitate towards Mandrake linux
because of it's simplicity, as i've heard some people say "even my grandma was able to figure it out without my help". So i'm kind of a
sucker for intuitive layout / designed distros. I've been running linux on and off for the last year or so, and i currently have 1 system in my house
which everyone uses for file storage not to mention as the NAT/Router for the house.
As far as friends go, i don't have many, and the ones i do have are probably my best of friends, meaning i can usually talk to
them about almost anything, if your reading this, you probably know who you are (Joe, Justin, Kris, Jeff, Nick)
