Ranting : Good Mood

Well, the last couple of days i've been getting myself psyched to learn C#, and i've already
started. I've downloaded SharpDevelop the dotnet framework, and many C# .chm freeware e-books from
here which i've found to be mostly
great and rather intuitive to my own likes. I'm going to try to keep from sounding like a zealot,
but i think .net framwork so far is rather pomissing. I guess i discovered something worth learning
other than php

Well, right now i seem to be in an unusually happy mood, helped my buddy gain the courage to dump
his Ex-girlfriend. Plus i'm completely lit on caffeine, i just consumed a whole 14 oz cup of coffee
with (3 pink, lots of creamer, tap of cinomin) and i feel great, i guess that is most likely do to
the coffee. Anyways, if i could feel like this all day, i think i could get alot of stuff done, but
then again, i still need to get a new keyboard before i can start doing my work to full capacity
again. I want to get this keyboard: keyboard
which is really kickass. If anyone wants to get me that keyboard i would be greatful :P my B/D is
comming up too.
Ranting : I'm no longer passionate

Well, about 10 minutes ago i just browsed through the archive.org and i was extremely surprised to find that some of the
content that i put on my site almost 3 years ago still exists to this day in their massive archives.
During which i took some of my time to read some of my previous news posts and i must give myself
credit for something that i've always wished i was. I used to be passionate about design and the
whole sene, now i guess my interests have faded away since that time. During those years i guess i
put all of my energy into learning, where all i do now is exist (i'm not saying this in a depressing
manner). I was in highschool when i wrote much of my most mentaly liberal writings. These days i
seem to have some kind of blockage or mental cap on the amount i write these days and how much
detail i give. I would say during that period of my life, i seemed to have had a more vivid detail
oriented imagination.
Looks like i'm starting to bable a bit, but atleast i know
that i should try to focus more on details and try to revive my imagination to revive that old
craving to learn new and complex things.
Ranting : Linux Migration

Well, looks like i'm making my final leap into the linux enviornment on a full time basis. for the
last year and a half, linux for me has only been on a part time basis, now it's full time. I'm
tweaking around with the linux kernel version 2.6.3m4 but i still can't compile it myself, so i do
the next best thing, run a distro which already uses it as default. So as we speed i'm downloading
mandrake 10.0 RC1 via bittorrent and hopefully i can _reformat_ -- my computer _AGAIN_ tomorrow, and
then see if i can do everything i want. My highest hopes are that totem will work perfectly, and i
won't have to worry to much about configuration of my system.
So in the mean
time, i'm running vmware with all my normal applications running in a virtual machine running on top
of my linux router, which is my old amd 1200mhz computer with 512mb of pc100 sdram. it seems to
handle the load pretty decent, it feels too muchlike the computers at the community college which
are severly under powered for what they are running, but then again, my vmware seems to use more cpu
than i would have previously thought.
Wish me luck on this whole venture into the
OSS world.
