2nd Debate

The other day I finished watching the debates between John F. Kerry & Bush Jr. and this lady
asked a question directed at Kerry as to how he would handle abortion laws. What really impressed me
is the fact that he is a religious person himself but he is not going to allow his own personal
believes to interfere with the constitutional right that all women are afforded to decide whether or
not they are going to terminate a pregnancy. To me this implies that Kerry is a very objective
individual compared to our so-called current president who reminds me more of a primate than a human
being.

Dude I saw the same the debate and the thing that impressed me about John Kerry was the way he
dodged her question. He filibustered for about five minutes and at the end of the five minutes, I
was like "What the fuck did you just say?" She asked him a yes or a no question and at the end of
his slick little speech, the only thing that I could gather was that he "respected her opinion."
The thing that impressed me about George W. was that he did actually anwser the question head on
"No, I won't allow public funds to be used for abortion." Whether you disagree with him or not, you
have to respect that he actually anwsered her question, no B.S.
As to abortion
being a "constitutional right," I'm pretty sure there is no amendment that deals with the issue.
The fundamental question that must be anwsered concerning abortion is "when does life begin?" No
one has a good anwser. If life does truly begin at conception, then the constitution would, in
fact, protect the life of the conceived cells, child, baby, or whatever you want to call it.
