Adobe purchases Macromedia

Adobe purchases Macromedia, who would have thunk it true. Well, all I have to say is this, if adobe gets rid of Macromedia Dreamweaver 2004 mx in favor of their own Adobe Go live, I'm finished with windows. I will no longer have any reason what so ever of running it because that was really the only application I love that runs under it. Of all the things that could have happened this disturbs me the most. I remember reading about how macromedia was considering building applications to go on the linux platform such as Dreamweaver and to me this would have been the holly grail. So I guess, right now it is time to see what path adobe is going to be taking macromedia in. I will say one thing; I do believe adobe could improve the interface that macromedia flash employs because I think it is extremely non-intuitive.
