I think i have pretty much finished up the rss feed parser that i've been working on for the past 5
days. I have put a lot of hard work into this to get it to where it is now, check it out for

Software : Eclipse 3.0

Eclipse 3.0 IDE for Java development is far superior in my opinion than it's previous version 2.x.
The newest version of Eclipse has one of the most streamline IDE interfaces i have seen since
Microsoft Visual Studio .Net. But Eclipse is free as in beer.
My first impression
was this is going to be complicated and hard to use like the previous builds of eclipse and netbeans
which was included with the sdk of java a little while back. Netbeans 3.5 is one of the most
complicated IDE's i have ever had the misfurtune of trying out and being overwelmed the minute i
open it up. Well, with eclipse 3.0, i was excited and very surprised to see how easy it was to get
started on building my first hello world console application using the "Welcome" menu i clicked on
the tutorial on getting started on building my hellow world application. It was a breaze, and now i
can actually get started working with my java book because i can now understand how to compile a
simple application using the eclipse IDE
I am now excited to start learning java
just because of the pure ease of use of the Eclipse IDE. Java no longer seems like something i will
have to grudge through.
Two thumbs up from me.

Well, it looks like i may have the CMS done rather quickly, i've completed a substantial portion of
the libraries, and hopefully, i will have the majority of it completed within a few days / weeks
heh.. I plan to GPL all of the source, so everyone who wants can use it, i also plan to template the
whole site using smarty, and after it's finished i will be taking feature requests.
Software : Taking my time

Well, for a little while now, i've been taking this very mild anti-depressant to help me focus,
doctor said it would take a while before i even noticed a thing, so i'm waiting patiently.
I've been rather bored lately, sort of a mental type boredness, or rather a lack of
motivation, i've been trying to get other people to look at my new CMS and i've failed to get many
to view what i've done. Hopefully i will finish this system eventually, that way i can release it to
the masses.

A lot has happend since my last news post, and i must say, I have been having a ball playing with
all these lovely pear libraries, they have everything i could want, so the less work i have to do
the better, plus they have great debugging modules built into them, especially pear::db.
I have also been rebuilding my Content Managment System since it was deleted via my old
host sort of uhm.. bi-polar syndrom heh.. lets just leave it at that, so now, my new CMS is around
75% complete, enjoy the new look, i sure do.
Software : Ponderance

Well, i've been thinking a bit about updating my site substantially, but i always procrastinate and
eventually never get around to it because i'm too lathargic. I think i'm going to set my goal, if
you see this same site layout by the end of this month, then you can officially claim that i am a
lazy bumb and will never do anything.
On another note, i would like to say that
living where i do with my parents is the most depressing moment in my existance. Not that living
with my parents really depresses me, but rather the people living with me such as my father, of all
people to be depressed he can't even talk to me, or address me with out acting all glum. How do
people put up with this type of life style, i'm sure it's not good.
Software : I was in a bad mood the other day

Ugh, it looks like periodically, i seem to fall into this endless void of depression. It seems to
keep me on my toes, intelectually speaking. When i've become depressed in the past, i tend to think
with more depth, i have a better sense of awareness. To me, depression is a way to feel life in
another dimension, yet it can take it's toll on you very quickly. Oh well, i think i'm recovering
from the other day. So no worries.
