Web Design : Opportunity Arises
Posted by Compubomb On May 12, 2004 @ 11:26 pm | Visited ( 306 )
Well an associate of mine prompted a very lucrative opportunity to me the other day. It may be
possible for me to get into the development field in terms of site development. Looks like I may
able to finally add something worth wild to my resume. Of all the things it could be it is a porn
site which would be one of my first commercial projects. So anyone who actually reads this page,
wish me luck on this project, because I could get enough money by the end of summer to purchase a
car
Web Design : Bleh.. Damn CSS
Posted by Compubomb On May 03, 2004 @ 12:04 am | Visited ( 202 )
Well, I've been working at trying to use CSS for building layouts / websites etc. And to tell you
the truth, it sucks ass, well atleast that's my point of view. What i don't like about CSS is how
many damn options you have, and what you can and cannot do with it in comparison to using tables.
Granted, I've heard all the rave about how wonderful using css can be, but then i've also
experienced many of the problems with it as well. I learned html not by reading about it, but by
using it through WYSIWYG Editors such as Dreamweaver 3.0 - mx2004. Learning how to do something by
practical application in my opinion is by fast the best way to learn anything.
Next time i attempt to learn CSS will be a long while from now.. and i don't believe i will touch
it untill the next version of IE comes out, because it seems that microsoft decided to stop
development on internet explorer browser. And most people do not use Mozilla based browsers. So in
respect to others, i will avoid using 100% css layouts untill it is heavily supported by the masses.

Well, i put up my old layout due to popular demand, hope those of you who appreciated my old style
like the new font i'm using. I think that i needed to give it a face lift, the old font looked kinda
corney.

Looks like I a new pet project + motivational factor. A friend just resently brought something to my
attention, he wants to make a system to allow teachers to manage / maintain informations on profiles
courses etc for teachers at a charter school, and it looks like i'm up to the task of building such
a elaberate system. I've built the system i'm using on my site, so why can't I do the same for his
charter school...
Web Design : Hope

Hopefully, those of you who still read my site, will enjoy a new monocromatic look, I haven't had
much time to update my site. But the reality is, my time is primarly based on, energy. I haven't had
the energy to update my site in quite some time. My mental state when it comes to working on my own
work has started to slack where it should be producing. Anyways, hope some of you like the black
look, I guess i was inspired by some of this Ibiza music i've been listening to lately, it's very
layed back, and primarly lounge style music. I guess you could call it elevator music, but in
retrospect, it's just calming and soothing to the ear, it gives you a moments peace, helping you
think.
Wow, school has really started to accelerate, in terms of assignments, and
reading. I've been trying to get through this Psychology book of mine, and it is taking me about 2
times longer to read than my political science book.
Sorry for the lack of
updates on my persona (about me) page, i'll try to update it as soon as possible for those who want
to see who i am :P
Welp, i guess enough of my bable.
Web Design : Rebuild
Posted by Compubomb On Apr 30, 2003 @ 6:19 pm | Visited ( 259 )
Currently at the moment i'm working on a rebuild of my cms, i'm spliting the site into it's core
components, on top of all static content removal, also i'm implimenting a new naming convention into
the site source and class integration, modules will be easy to integrate via a simple dumping the
file into the directory and adding the name to the configuration file containing all information
pertaining to the site parameters.
Web Design : Feellings

Feeling deserted on my special pet project working with some guy's from 2skilled.net. If only we could get something done on
that site, it seems as if life as stoped, and time goes by in an eternity, I need something to ocupy
my time, without something to do, i get bored really fast.. maybe i should add some more features to
my cms, maybe i should redo the news editing system
i'm not all the sure, i need some
critisism from someone, but then again no one reads my site, maybe i should put up a counter, and
find out how many people actually do goto my site.. after all it's pretty new. If you haven't
noticed i tend to babble alot.. i just like to hear myself talk, in most cases because no one talks
to me :/
Web Design : As of Late

As of lately, i've been working extensively on my software project (CMS) aka (Content Managment
System), which has been taking up much of my spair time. In the time which has been consumed almost
every minute of my leisurely time, i've been implimenting it in several sites, which include:
1. 2skilled.net
2. Downloadanime.org
3. The Development Solutions
4. RayJinx Solutions
I've also
been helping as well as designing new layouts one of which was previously mentioned above but i gave
TDS my employer a new face-lift. which i believe suites the site in more of a mellon-colly mood.
