Note to Keith Olbermann

His Youtube Video Commentary

I just wanted to thank you for giving that commentary. What a way to dress down a president than to use a good ole fashioned cut throat argument which you supported like a bullet. My suggestion to you is to seriously look into Ron Paul. My guess is you are a Democrat, but he is one of the only men, and the strongest candidate to run on an honest ticket, who by trade runs transparent on everything he does. His voting record is a mirrored reflection on his dedication to the constitution and as you are always lambasting the president for overlooking his job to uphold the constitution; all other candidates are status quo with horse blinders as their advisers tell them everything. Exceptions exist. Dennis Kucinich, who actually relies on his own brain and on that of which he reads. He is truly connected with the world and the internet as he doesn't brush everything off as a conspiracy. Let those who speak the truth and those who will uphold all that this great country has to offer that of which is the constitution be our leaders. Not the jock in highschool who rewards loyalty over morality and principle.

Questions about Government.

I have just finished watching a episode of PBS's Frontline called When Kids get Life Aired on 05/08/2007, and I was appalled. From what I've been reading about the state of our country for at least the last 20 years, virtually nothing when it comes to the judiciary branch or the legislative branch has done anything that would be deemed as fair or humane. How is it that we live in the supposed most modern society, most humane society on the planet and we treat juveniles with the same disdain we treat hardened criminals. Why is it that politics are so dense and hard to weave through that when it comes to getting help to individuals--which is supposed to be afforded--is non-existent until a crime is committed? Do our politicians have a grasp on reality? Do they know--or the big question--do they care; has anyone--if you even read this blog--know of any instant where you believed what has happened--in the government[politics/law making]--ever helped anybody who was part of a larger group of disadvantaged people without the intervention of non-government assistance?

I see this episode and I don't just think of the injustices that happen in our judicial branch, but I also look at how the politics of our society are interwoven. A major portion of why these boys, many of whom were prosecuted near or around the columbine incident garnered so much time was because the media tainted the jury pools when it came down to deciding the fates of these people--who were teens at the time. Has our society lost all faith in children, teenagers, and young adults?

Life and Its' Cookies, Some Burnt, and Some Chewy

So, where to begin, well, first off, I'm still alive; now that is out of the way, I've done unexpectedly well on my calculus test this past Monday--in no way in hell did I think I'd do decent. I've received as a gift you might say a 20.1 inch Dell LCD monitor, I purchased myself a new Microsoft Natural Ergonomic Keyboard 4000, which I absolutely love to death--anyone who can type knows just how much a new comfortable keyboard can do to your life. Found out my cat Sophie is probably going to die; I guess that is what happens when you're a cat of 15 yrs old and you develop breast cancer--feline form. Got our cat Buffy shaved after not havening had her shaved for almost 4 yrs, which was really outrageous on our part. Sorry buff, but at least your now shaved, by the way, buff is 17 yrs old--chuckles. Also had this chick in my calculus II class tell me that she thinks I look better with a shaved head than I do with hair, which wasn't much of a surprise to me, besides, I hate having hair; did I mention the female who told me this was incredibly sexy with the body of a dancer. Oh, I forgot to mention that I also got a new Logitech g5 laser mouse.

Now that I've finished gloating, the more interesting part comes. All that other stuff I wrote about, mostly material possessions I received in part because my dad is pretty much back in the real estate business--I won't say to what depth, but so far so good. So now that we have some money, we have started to rectify some problems that we have had for a long while, part of which being the fact that we have not had any central air--conditioning/heating for almost 3 years. We have taken steps to fix this problem and hopefully we can use the A/C or Heater when it is so needed; also the fact that neither I nor my brother possesses a driver's license due to the fact that only having one car in the family for a long period of time would only dictate that a single individual with a good driving record use it--that being my father, mother is going blind and has an amputated right leg. Due to past circumstances, we did not have a license, but now, and most likely we will learn during the summer break--hopefully. This should void much of or problems of transportation since we will attempt to obtain a new car.

P.S. My cat Sandy kept me company while I wrote this little unorganized assortment of summarization.
