Well, I suppose now is as good a time as any. I've since felt the need to give up using windows as my primary operating system as everything I generally need to do these days is on linux. I've been using Ubuntu probably for the last 2 yrs. I used to be an avid user of Mandriva, but I grew annoyed at the prospect of having to redo my entire system on a regular basis. Ubuntu allowed me to avoid fresh installs and just upgrade everything on my existing install. I'm currently on FIOS and I'm able to access port 80, 22 so I'm able to host an http & ssh server. FIOS is great, especially when you have 20/5 mbit connection. Unfortunately I can only use up about 10-15mbit of it since I'm currently only using 802.11g to access this throughput. If anyone has any questions about my experience with ubuntu just leave a message on the board. It seems to work on everything I've installed it on. I don't understand why some people don't like it. On a tangent note, I also run windows 7 on my other partition as my windows needs are satiated. I only dislike the fact that windows 7 seems to have problems with Skype which is also another thing I don't like about pulseaudio on Ubuntu 9.04 as skype still doesn't seem to behave all that well with. I don't consider 99% cpu usage on a laptop a very good idea--unless you want to burn up your computer.

So, I got paid on a contract job i was working on. Was about 7-8 days of solid straight work. I was working with TCPDF generating invoices for a small Canadian telephone company. I learned about php pdf generation, but most of all i learned about how cool TCPDF is to the point that i didn't have to learn much but rather implemented their api and it did everything for me :p
